Avenir Light is a clean and stylish font favored by designers. It's easy on the eyes and a great go-to font for titles, paragraphs & more.

Diary

January 16, 2021

  • Got up super early and took the dog for a walk.

  • Went to Mozarts, a coffee shop by the water. This place was AWESOME with beautiful decorations. I had a cup of coffee and an almond croissant, then sat and relaxed for a while and read HER2.

  • Walked to Rainey Street which was very cool but surprisingly short. Nothing opened up until noon but I was there around 11.

  • Took a nap, then went to the State Capitol for just a few minutes - it was “closed” due to all of the political unrest. There were guards everywhere…took a few pictures and left.

  • Walked to Winebelly for wine and cheese, but it was closed. Grrrrr. Walked back and got some bubble bath at CEB. I don’t even like baths but it seemed like the thing to do. Totally fell down on the sidewalk right next to a McDonald’s drive-thru and hurt my elbow.

  • Went to WhipIn for wine and BBQ naan and met my next door neighbor Doug MacLean….an ex-professor near 70, dressed very well but talked very poorly of his ex-wife.

  • 18,849 steps

  • Did a lot of research on dry brushing.

  • Took Shelby for a walk, she is doing so well!

  • Went to Mayfield Park/Peacock Sanctuary. The park was cool with walking trails. Saw a few peacocks and koi.

  • Went to Mount Ronnell which was about a half mile away…it was VERY busy with amazing views.

  • Went home then took a walk to SoCo, also very busy. Got more incense and walked around. Wanted to go back for Big Vinny’s BBQ.

  • Went home to rest for a bit then went to CEB for wine, Vinny’s was closed. Boo. Decided to find Rollin Smoke BBQ, a food truck on 6th. It was pretty good.

  • Crashed super early.

  • 14,106 steps
